Addo African Home is a charming eco-friendly lodge located in the Eastern Cape, only 10 minutes’ drive from the main gate of Addo Elephant National Park.

The property offers accommodation set in traditional chalets called “rondavels” and the original farmhouse has been converted into a lodge. Rooms are equipped with all modern equipment and feature an en-suite bathroom with shower.

Addo African Home organises private game-drives to the Addo Elephant National Park hosted by a professional guide in an open-top vehicle, for full-day or half-day tours.

There is a restaurant and cooking school onsite where international students serve traditional French & South-African food, using fresh products from the organic vegetable garden and local suppliers.

The garden offers a natural swimming-pool with loungers, the ideal place to relax after a day exploring the Park.
